"A journey of a million miles begins with a single step". Today this means my journey to a rockin' bikini bod starts with breakfast. Here's what I had:
1 serving old fashioned oatmeal cooked on the stove (trust me, it makes the microwaveable packets taste like crap, except for the "Better Oats" brand)
mixed with:
1 sliced banana
1 T chopped walnuts (protein to keep me going)
1 T sweetened coconut
coffee with 1 T sugar, 1 T white chocolate caramel latte coffee mate- I actually measured and it tasted like poo, usually I use a lot more creamer but that is a calorie no-no. So I added 1/4 c skim milk to make it drinkable. I'm going to have to find more low cal options for my coffee because I can't live without it, but as much as I'd like to, I can't drink gallons of creamer.
According to my fitnesspal, this adds up to 400 calories! Next time I guess it's just oatmeal,a banana and skim milk, which will bring it under 300 calories.
I'm going to take the dogs for a walk in a little bit because we're having dinner at my mother in law's- leftover friend chicken. wah-wah-wah. I'll try to fill my plate up with green beans. Any advice out there for eating when there arn't really any healthy options? Portion control, I guess.
